Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for consideration for our International Undergraduate Scholarship you must be:
- starting a full-time bachelors degree at one of ARU core campuses
- studying full-time, unless there are exceptional circumstances preventing full-time study.

- studying for an MBA
- an ARU graduate
- meet the eligibility criteria, including exceeding minimum entry requirements.

- Choose from the largest selection of Engineering courses in the East of England, many of which are accredited by professional bodies.
- You will be learning in facilities with a QS 5 Stars rating, including ARU's advanced engineering and manufacturing workshops.
- Prepare for high-demanding roles in tech and innovation sectors by choosing a placement year for your Bachelors or a Professional Experience module for your Masters degree.
- Develop your practical skills and knowledge so you can go straight into an impactful career in healthcare or life sciences.
- You will be learning in facilities with a QS 5 Stars rating, including skills rooms, operating theatres, mock wards, and the SuperLab complex featuring science labs, a physiology lab, and a pharmaceutical research lab.
- Some of ARU's healthcare courses offer placement options, giving you work experience in your chosen field.
- IELTS Academic Test: Overall score of 6.0 or equivalent for a Bachelors degree with no band score lower than 5.5. For Nursing applicants you will need an overall score of 7 with no less than 6.5 in writing and 7 in all other sections. Overall 6.5 for a Masters degree with no band lower than 5.5.
- ETS TOEFL iBT: Overall score of 80 for a Bachelors degree with a minimum of 17 in Writing and Listening, 18 in Reading, and 20 in Speaking. Overall score of 88 for a Masters with 17 in Writing and Listening, 18 in Reading and 20 in Speaking.
English Language Requirement
English requirements may vary based on test type, the course of study, and the level of degree. Speak to an IDP counsellor for more information.
