INFORMATION FOR STUDENTS FROM NIGERIA

Southampton's Entry Requirements

English requirements may vary based on test type, the course of study and the level of degree. All students will be considered on an individual basis.

Undergraduate entry requirements

To apply for one, you need one of the following:

• high grades in UK A levels
• an International Baccalaureate (IB) score of between 28 and 38 points
• to have completed a recognised foundation course in the UK, Australia or Canada
• any University-recognised international high school equivalent qualifications

Postgraduate entry requirements

To apply, you usually need either:

• a first class UK degree equivalent with a grade point average (GPA) of 3.5 or above out of 4.0, or 4.5 or above out of 5.0;
• a UK 2:1 degree equivalent with a grade point average (GPA) of 2.8 to 3.0 out of 4.0, or 3.2 to 3.5 out of 5.0.
