UIC Tutorium offers different options for those that do not meet the language requirements. Grad+ Professional Skills provides support courses that can be taken with any of the programs listed above. Intensive English pre-Grad provides the opportunity to complete the Intensive English Program then begin graduate study without re-applying.

• UIC provides the English Language Proficiency Assessment remotely as an alternative to the TOEFL or IELTS*.

• New Paper-Based TOEFL* (after August 2018) of 60, with sub-scores of: Reading 19, Listening 17, Writing 21;
